Samuel Hall Crowley is an interdisciplinary artist, muralist, and designer working in painting, animation, photography, printmaking, sound design, and a variety of other mediums.
As a Watson Fellow, Sam explored how unique individual and cultural perspectives, along with the history that has shaped them, can be seen reflected in distinct forms of figurative art around the world. By studying and practicing these art forms, he worked to better understand the perspectives they embody, the context informing them, and how they have evolved over time.
