Thumbnail options with my designs for image- and text-based logos, racing stripe motif, font, and different color schemes. I was asked to design something reminiscent of 1970's and 80's rally car decals; simple shapes, bold colors, and eye-catching composition. The second from left was ultimately chosen as the black would hide dirt and mud. I also managed to talk the chiefs down from bright blue to the bluish-grey seen in the final design, on the basis that the bright red and dark black needed a muted color for balance.
Completed 3D mockup in SolidWorks and the final result. The decals were hand-cut in vinyl.
